im using a board z370 aorus ultra gaming, i7 8700 and a 1070ti msi titanium, i think g skill rams look the best but some people tell me it is better to buy 2x8gb instead of 1x16gb (and g skill 2x8 are not available where im buying them) so what should i do?

It is better top get the matched set of dual channel memory rather than the single stick.

Additionally with the matched set if you ever have trouble with one stick, you can remain operational. With only one stick you are running at single channel which has less performance.

Oh, i understand now, so sad i can't get 2 gskills that wouldve been so cool.

No , I was just referring to the matched set of two 8 GB RAM sticks instead of 1 16 GB stick. They can be any brand.

For example
G.SKILL TridentZ RGB Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3200 (PC4 25600) Desktop Memory Model F4-3200C16D-16GTZR

As i said gskill Trident z 2x8 arent available where i'm buying my stuff, so i'll have to go with HyperX fury ones, which are just as good un performance, only not that cool in aesthetics.
