Alright well. I've seen a dozen of these threads all over...and have the same issue now. I tried to troubleshoot this myself but cannot so I'm asking the much more knowledgeable.

Heres the details.

I'll drop these here to maybe make it easier.

This is my Ram

This is my mobo

But I have the
  • Trident Z Neo Series, designed specifically for AMD Ryzen 3000, X570 Series
  • 16GB kit containing 2x 8GB modules
  • 3600MHz memory speed, PC4-28800, 288 pins
  • CAS Latency CL18 (18-22-22-42) at 1.35V
I stupidly bought this accidentally and was told it would work so I didn't bother to return in. Well regret that now surely....I'd of been fine with cl16 3200mhz or 3600mhz...and if I can't get these to work properly than I'll have to order those and try to resell these sigh..

I have the RAM in slots DIMMAA2 and DIMMAB2

My Motherboard is MSI MPG x570 Gaming Plus motherboard..

I recently updated the Bios to the newest settings. So thats taken care of..
Bios version :E7C37AMS.A71
Build Date : 01/08/2020

When I tried to use the A-XMP button, well turn it on I mean...itll work, and cpuz shows that its running at 3600mhz....but thats when the problems start. The screen starts to stutter...then eventually it will just crash.

I'm assuming I'll have to set something up manually in the Bios...which is where I need help...I'm not very familiar with setting manual memory settings, or familiar with this BIOS. So any help would be appreciated.

I'm not sure what else would be needed..but this is the rest

-NZXT H510 case
-AMD Ryzen 5 3600x CPU
-ASUS ROG Strix 2070 Super AO GPU
-Samsung 970 EVO 1tb M.2 NVMe SSD, Samsung 860 QVO 1tb SSD
-EVGA 750w GQ: 80+ Gold PSU

Note that currently I have my old 970 strix card hooked up at the moment, the 2070 hasn't been hooked up yet. I just got it. Wanted to handle this first. Running windows 10 as well.
