Whats the difference between the two, ones ends in D and the other in Q.

My QVL says its supports the Q version, but can't work out whats the difference?

For 16GB packs, Q (Quad) is 4 x 4GB and D (Dual) is 2 x 8GB. They should both work, but 2 x 8GB would be preferred.

What motherboard do you have?
