Hi there,
I have FreeSync monitor Philips 246E9QDSB, and a NVIDIA card
GTX 660 which, according to Nvidia's webpage is G-SYNC compatibile. It has Display Port as every GSYNC card, but the odds are that the monitor only has HDMI port. It turns out that G-SYNC is only supported via DP, but my question is, whether anyone has tried to use a converter from DisplayPort to HDMI to see whether it could work, me myself I dont have one to test. Thanks

Solution
To enable FreeSync with your Nvidia GPU, your monitor has to have a DisplayPort 1.2/1.4 input. FreeSync via HDMI will not work even if your monitor supports it. Unfortunately, the adapter will not work either.
