[SOLVED] g-sync now on all adaptive refresh rate monitors?

I saw a couple videos saying nividia is now making g-sync open to all displayport monitors like free-sync, and it should be able to play on all monitors although not all are compatible but even some who aren't just aren't validated but still work. that is suppose to launch with the next driver update? or.. is it here already? can I enable it on my free sync monitor?

Solution
They will be testing and certifying Freesync monitors that they find to be functional with nVidia GPUs, but you can also just enable it in the new driver to just try it on your freesync monitor even if it is not certified by nVidia.
It's more the other way around, Nvidia are enabling Freesync on their GPU's, so that they can fully use *some* freesync monitors. G-Sync requires a physical card on the monitor and has/had a wider refresh range than freesync which uses native functionality of various standards.

will my Samsung 27 inch curved free sync 144hz 1440p display work? and if so, only on displayport?
