hello,i have asus mx279h fullhd monitor i wonder if it is g sync or freesync .i want to buy gpu and can't decide amd or nvidia ?

That monitor has no adaptive sync technology at all, so it doesn't matter what GPU brand you use with it. It will run at 60Hz at all times no matter what GPU it's connected to.

so it comes down to this. if u r budget constrained, get a gtx 1060 or rx480/580

if u have the budget n u r looking to upgrade ur monitor to a new one, still get the same gpu i said above and see if vega[AMD] or volta[Nvidia] along with a HDR monitor with g sync or free sync
