G-Sync turning off

Hey there! So I play fortnite in stretch and when I tried changing my resolution in the Nvidia control panel the g sync turns off, and when I change it back to 1080P (native) it turns back on, and I don't know why this is happening anyone know what I can do?

Mind sharing which driver version you're on at the moment? Have you tried reverting to an older driver and seen if the issue compounds there?
