I checked on the Nvidia website and they mentioned that G-Sync requires a displayport. I have a Nvidia GTX 660 with only one displayport but I have two monitors. It has a hdmi port on the back and I was wondering if I could use an adapter. Would an adapter work?

Also, would it be possible to run G-Sync on only one monitor, with the other ports going to another?

Solution
You can connect a g-sync capable monitor to the Displayport output.
You can connect up to three other displays to other outputs but these will not support g-sync.

So only the displayport can support G-Sync, while the others wont. So that means that I have to set that monitor as my main monitor and play games on it, right?

As for the other monitors they would just be used as secondary, without G-Sync?

yes.
