G-sync without dp

I want to buy a g-sync monitor, i have a good enough gpu etc, but my pc doesnt have a display port. Will it work with an adapter for example dp-hdmi?

G sync only works via displayport. If your gpu doesn't have a displayport, it itself won't support g sync either.

Only AMD's freesync supports HDMI. Gsync simply doesn't
