Question G-Sync work better below, higher, or fixed refresh rate?

Hello,

I have a VG278Q, which is G-Sync compatible.

There is this issue only on Minecraft where when I'm looking around and it's like the game skips frames or where it looks like my sensitivity jumps up super high for like a split second.

Not sure if this is the G-Sync or the game. Either way, what should I put my framerate at for the best G-Sync experience? Does it matter?

Gsync range is between 30Hz to max refresh rate. Allow Vsync application control in NvidiaCP and enable in game for best results. Vsync's purpose with Gsync is to keep fps within Gsync range and not go over and out of sync causing potential tearing and frame drops.
