G31M-S Trouble

i bought a G31M-S but, after i install any ram, it doesnt display any video, the MB its installed properly. if i remove the Ram it does 3 beeps. The Processor its a 2.66Ghz Celeron D, should be compatible, thats why i bought it... the rams are 533 and 677 DDR2... and they all work cause im using them in this computer right now. please, help me out.

Isn't a Celeron D a 331? If so, I couldn't find it on the list of supported CPUs for that ASRock motherboard.

no, its an lga775... i tried more rams and still not working, the power source its working... any idea?

If yours isn't a 331, what model is it?

I also thought about to by an Asrock G31M-S, but the Celeron D isn't supportet, because fsb 533 Mhz isn't supportet. But in the maual it says, that you can jumper it to fsb 533Mhz only in Rev. 1.10 Manboards. This maight help. But i did not buy it and couldn test it. If it works, please give an aswer. You have to jumper 3 Jumpers. See the Manual. I have an Asrock G41M-L and there it was the same problem, but this mainboard has an officeal Celeron D Support. Please give an Answer, so we could learn something.

The Celeron D 2,66 Mhz is an Celeron 331!!!

you have to change jumers

||| -> 1st 2 jumpers selected
||| -> last 2 jumpers selected
||| -> last 2 jumpers selected

and it works fine.

YOU SHOULD USE RAM WITHE BUS 800.....I TESTED IT

ram 800bus must be use......if your cpu bus 533 u must see the jumper under cpu and make it like this
