g3258 750ti or 270x setup at 768p

would this setup, particularly the processor work well at 768p resolution. I am interested in how it would run new games but I'm not sure if g3258 would work with either of these cards without any bottleneck. I'm pretty sure it can't but at 1366x768p would that put less of a load on the processor and reduce the bottleneck?

I would go with a quad core Athlon just to have a processor that is well balanced out at that resolution. Ofcourse the G3258 is more future proof though so for now you could stick with that.

Like even though a GTX 750 Ti would be enough, if you bought an R9 280 now which is extremely close to the price of an R9 270X you would future proof your build for 1080p.

With an R9 280 you could also supersample your games so they look better even at 768p. Just a suggestion.

Oh ok. I'm probably going to be using a gtx 750 non ti in the build. I'm aware that lower resolution puts less weight on the graphics card and more on the cpu so I wasn't sure how well the g3258 would work. I wouldn't overclock it very much since I wouldnt be using an aftermarket cooler either
