G3258K and asus z97M plus - multiplier won't go above 32

Hi everyone. This is my first overclock in quite a while and there's a lot more settings on this z97 board that I've ever seen before. This is the unlocked pentium "K" cpu.

Using either the bios ezy-tuner or manual settings I can set the multiplier higher than 32. CPU-z identifies the new multiplier range (8-42) but then when I run prime95 it only runs at 32x.

I tried to get the bios (and also ai-tweak) to auto-overclock using baseclock 1st: it gave me a 125 baseclock and a 27x multiplier which was confirmed by CPU-z. I'm guessing there must be something in the bios that is holding it from exceeding the max multiplier setting. Can anyone give me some guidance?
 
Just gonna jump in and answer my own problem here. AI tweak told me my bios was up to date, but I found a newer version and manually installed and now I'm overclocking as I should be.... Only at 3.8 at the moment and am going to see how the temperatures behave.
