k, so I'm building a pc for the girlfriends mom. Nuff said, it's not barn burner. I Slapped it all together, and was a little disappointed.
Here's the setup
e2160
G33T-M2
2GB ddr2800
I could leave it stock without any worry that she'd ever know the difference. But of course I wanted to see what I could squeeze out of it. Especially since it seems everyone pushes their e2160 to 3.4ghz without much problem. I even pasted a spare freezer pro 7 on so as not to worry about heat. I can hardly get this box past 2.1ghz. I know it's the mobo, the oc'ing options are extremely limited. The biggest downfall is the lack of cpu voltage adjustment.
Anyone have any experience with this board? Or know of any way to adjust the Vcore settings on it? I was sure I'd get more than 2.1ghz with the stock voltage. I think I'll test the e2160 on my main rig and see how far I can push it just for fun.
