I have a Foxconn G41MD mobo and an E5400 2.7GHz CPU and it's working on 800MHz bus speed...But my Kingston KVR1333D3N9/4G Ram can run at 1333MHz as it supposed...

Although when I look at CPU Z it stats that it's running on 400MHz (400x2=800 as I guess because it's DDR3) and here are the screen snaps...

And there is a jumper switch on my mobo which can be use to move between DDR3 1066 and 1333 (overclocked) modes...they say the following in the manual

Over Memory Frequency Jumper: MEM_OC_1333
When you use the memory which supports 1333/1066, the jumper is used to overclock memory frequency. and make the memory word at 1333MHz.
Set the jumper to pins 2-3 (as Status 1) , memory frequency will be 1066MHz. This is default status. Set the jumper to pins 1-2 (as Status 2), memory frequency will be up to 1333MHz.

■ To overclock memory up to 1333MHz, you also need to use CPU which supports 1333.
■ As a result of the memory brand and the chip’s difference, we do not guarantee that the 1066MHz memory you used all can work steadily under 1333MHz

So can I move this jumper to 1333OC mode or is it safe in 1066 mode? Is my CPU bottle necking RAM from fully performing?

Solution
yes, it is gpu. Try lowering game setting. My cousin running 4gb ddr3-1333 ram with HD5770. Getting good fps. His cpu is same, dual-core. So ram speed is just like yours. Ram speed will not increase fps unless you upgrade to a better gpu.

You have to overclock your cpu or set memory multiplier high. Your memory configuration is now 200x4=800, where 200 is cpu host clock and 4 is memory multiplier(SPD). You have to oc your cpu host clock to get high memory speed. Like, 266x4=1064. I think you cant increase SPD more than 4.

But ocing cpu will need a good cpu cooler and more than 266 cpu host clock, cpu can be unstable or required liquid cooler. So be cautious.

Ok thanks for the info mate...but still I'm lil bit confused because I get very low FPS in most games...6 to 15 FPS mostly
BTW it can be my GPU not the RAM though (because this new HD 5570 I got is made up with Turks LE instead of previous Redwood PRO losing 80 SPUs and 4 ROP units together)
