Okay so today I was on skype with my brother, and told me that he could hear my music. I was wondering what caused this, so I did some research and try to fix it, but I do not know how. Please let me know. Extra information is my headset is the Logitech G430, I have realtek audio drivers, and I do not use the dongle, because it makes the headset sound really quiet. Thanks in advance.

Hello. I have the same headset actually. I bought it because my Turtlebeaches had very bad soundleak and I haven't had a problem in the past year with the G430 (until 3 days ago I started cutting out, but that's irrelevant here). I would try a few things. Make sure you have the Logitech Gaming software downloaded. Try using the dongle again. Use the front panel USB and try again with the mobo USBs. Do you get soundleak even if the mic is muted? If not then it's not "true" soundleak. It would be the mic actually picking up the sound rather than the output being relayed into the input through the cables which is what happens with the Turtlebeaches I had. Try also plugging in without the dongle on the front panel and again with the mobo ports. How does that work?
