So I've been using my cpu (g4560) paired with a gtx 1050 ti for quite some time and I would like to upgrade it. I would like to know if it is worth the money and how much fps boost will I might get?

That's the slowest i5 on socket 1151 and its actually clocked slower than the g4560. In games that only use 1 or 2 I doubt you will see any improvement, it could even be marginally slower. To make an upgrade worth while you should be looking at least the top end i5's like the 6600 or 7600.

mo : Gigabyte - GA-B250M-Gaming 3
CPU : G4560
RAM : HyperX Fury 8GB 2133Mhz
psu : corsair 450W
GPU : 1050 Ti

p/s : i'm only planning to change my cpu. I feel like the g4560 bottlenecks the 1050Ti.

I plan to play games such as : gta V, BF1, Assassin's Creed Unity / Origin, Starwars Battlefront I ( etc )

Check your CPU usage during game to determine if it is bottlenecking. Actually g4560 can handle gpu even better than 1050 ti. You may want to spend it on gpu first to see some immediate improvement. 6400 will not have decent FPS improvement as shown in the video.

That motherboard does support Kaby Lake. You can comfortably upgrade to i7. i5 will not make much sense in your case like the others have also pointed out. Evem i5 7600 is clocked the same as G4560. i7 7700 OTOH, will give you boost in terms of smoother game play. It may not affect average FPS by much, but it will definitely increase the minimums by a lot.

Plus, what is the make and model of that PSU? If its lower than cx series, you are pretty much using the best graphics card that you can with that PSU. If I were in your shoes, I would change that PSU and upgrade to a 1060 or 1070 based on what you game at (1080p 60 Hz or 1080p 144Hz).

i7 in my country is sooo expensive and it's way over my budget. I can't afford an I7. If that's the case for me, should I just save up my money for something else and not waste my money on the i5 7600?
