G4560 upgrade path

Alright so I have enough money to upgrade my pc now. Done with upgrading the ram and will buy a new ssd soon. Is it still worth it to upgrade my G4560 to an i5 7400 even if coffeelake is around? Or should I just save more and buy a new mobo + coffeelake chip?

If you do upgrade then I would try and find a an i7 7700 or 7700k (if your mobo supports oveclocking) and not bother with the i5 of the Kaby Lake generation. But give how CPU prices dont seem to fall for new ones even on older gen CPUs unless you can find a used one in good condition then probably going with a new coffee lake 8400/8600k would be the best bet.
