G4580? Cpu-z wtf

Hello so i was looking for a g4560 from many sellers online for a cheap price because of the price that increased to 100$
One of them is telling me they don't have it anymore in stock but they have the g4580 i looked on google and i discovered it doesn't exist.I asked him to recheck and he sent me this

Can someone explain me is it a custom driver or something like that.The seller himself seems confused about the item as I didn't get any other good offer i bought one anyway if it is bad i will just have to return it but can someone explain this to me?

Maybe the seller's CPU-z isn't up to date and is misinterpreting the model number?

There is no such thing a G4580, it does not exist in the Pentium G lineup I linked all of them below. Might be fake it has question marks after intel and Pentium that screenshot I don't think that should be there. Its either fake or its an issue with cpu-z as said above. I would ask them to right click on "this pc" select properties then screenshot the window that opens, this shows what windows thinks the cpu is.

look at his background its full of chinese fake stuff.

XD yes superninja12 i got all parts except the cpu which got lost in transit now that i wanna buy a new one they all cost 100$ 🙁

And that seller has a 5 years positive feedback and literally have phone numbers and a name.I highly doubt he is a scammer.Is it even possible to create fake cpus?

But if u watch it it is 3.6ghz like the g4600 perhaps intel named it intel g4580 then decided to rename it to g4600 and for an unknown reason these cpus have the same name i think im gonna ask a hard job but can someone tell me all processors that are 3.6ghz,2 cores,4 threads kaby lake, lga 1151?

No but its likely possible to fake cpu-z results and make one processor look like another, but I have no idea why someone would do that using the name of a processor that does not even exist. Can you link it? Is it still on ebay?

Not on ebay but on alibaba Shenzen Foxcom Technology Limited.They even have a phone number,i bought it as i said on my first post and he even gave me a tracking number and its probably gonna update soon but no big problem if it isnt the g4560 or the g4600 i just have to open a paypal case

They dont sell it directly but when i asked about the g4560 the told me it was out of stock the g4600 also then they told they have 5 pieces of g4580 wtf

Because on cpu z the core speed was 3600mhz do everyone agree or are there more possibilities

It's either a fake or an ES(engineering sample) either way you don't want it. Alibaba is grand central for counterfeits and other shady deals.

Interesting bignasty about the ES just discovered their existence but if it is one it should probably work and have the same performance it is even rare i could perhaps sell it

Engineering samples are not legal to own. If you have one without Intel's permission you would be in possession of stolen goods.

What would you do if someone called you and asked for a replacement for an item that was stolen from you?

The problem is that i paid for the item and it was already shipped.If it is really an ES intel should just ask the seller who sold me to give me a replacement i bought from shenzen foxconn which is an OEM so they could easily give me a replacement.

You'd have to ask PayPal not sure what their policy is on being sent stolen goods.

Has to be an ES , stepping & revision are from a 4560 (4600's as far as I know are all s0 revision).

Well just found that there is a intel program that says if the cpu is an ES we will see when i receive it

ES will usually be printed on the top of the cpu.
