G5 mouse still ok?

Ordered my PC parts yesterday from newegg. I was going to use my G15 keyboard, and G5 mouse that I bought 5 years ago. Both work fine. The mouse has 2000 dpi, but I've been reading all this stuff about how it affects games. My monitor is 23" 1920x1080 up from a 17" at whatever resolution. am I ok?

Yep. You should have no problems at all. Some mice that have higher dpi can almost feel too sensetive.
