[SOLVED] G5 power supply

Hi I was given a g5 that is dead, I took it apart and checked all the capicators, they all seem good, the only thing I can find is the resistor on the psu marked r22 seems to be blown, would anybody know what the rating for this resistor is? It is kinda charred so I am having trouble identifying the bands on it

You don't say whether this is an iMac or a PoweMac. If the latter, there is an article that might help here: http://damntechnology.blogspot.co.uk/2009/02/rebuilding-powermac-g5-power-supply.html

It would seem to me that if a resistor has burnt out there are other problems with the PSU; a replacement via eBay might be the answer. Of course, the blown PSU might have taken out other parts of the computer.
