So, right now I am actually pretty new to pc building but I have been doing research. I want to make my first gaming PC budget but can be upgraded in the future, is this setup okay for running competitive games like csgo and lol but I'll also be playing games like gta v and ac origins and odyssey?

Solution
Personally with what is likely to release in June/July for AMD makes it hard for me to suggest an Intel build with the intention of upgrading it later.

Final performance may vary but the ryzen 3000 engineering sample beat a 9900k, and it was likely a r5 not even the top of the stack. Currently the r5s sell for $165usd it might go up some with the next gen but if a $200 processor beats Intel's $530 flagship model I wouldn't want to be stuck with Intel

If I were on that budget I'd look a a 2200g and b450 motherboard. It offers cpu support through 2020 and better performance in a lot of cases out of the box.

The 8th gen stuff is already a dead socket with the 9 series already being released

I did try to look for the best deals I can on the second hand market for a 2200G (the Philippines sucks when it comes to used PC parts) and I can't find 2200G under retail, it's why I stuck with the g5400. Do I just save for it or do I go with the g5400?
