G80 to g200 upgrade!

My rig is as follows:

MB: Abit ip-35 pro
CPU: Intel e8500
RAM: 2Gb HyperX
Samsung 20' lcd

I think i'll upgrade my 8800GTS 512 to a GTX 275, i game at 1680x1050 so this would be more than fine i think.

in this options, which one is the best?

all this are stock speeds, 633 mhz. but nevere owned one of those brands.

then, there's bfg and evga. also at 633 mhz but for $230, 240 an up.

saving 20 or 30 bucks is useful, with that, maybe i'll get more ram.
I don't care for bundled games.

What do you guys think?

The cheapest one with a lifetime warranty 😀. I like the XFX double life time warranty since that's a big plus wif you want to sell the card when you want to upgrade again latter.

Check the Newegg reviews on the similar XFX GTX275s', I recall seeing some negative comments on their non standard cooler.
BFG also issue a lifetime warranty but like XFX, you MUST register to get the longer warranty period.

tested a friend's gtx260 (core192) and didn't see a big difference in games, in fact, i ran 3dmark vantage in 1680x1050 and got this:
8800GTS 512 = 11870
GTX 260 = 13188

Really I saw a good jump in fps coming from a 9800gtx to gtx260. The one i showed you has 216sp so its a bit faster.

it seems that gtx260 216 is about the same that gtx275 in most games.

You should wait for the new DX11 cards, they are just around the corner.

You won't see a huge improvement going from g80 to gt200.

Not only for DX11 but all the new tech...
gt200 is only a small refresh of the g80, but gt300 should be new arch...

and if you decide to go gt200 after the launch of the gt300, you should pay less for the gt200 cards.

@ Nocteratus: I have to disagree, I went from a 8800GTS 640 (G80) to a HD4870 and noticed a useful improvement, particularly with AA, a known weak point on the G80.
All of which is a little moot, Socrampy has a G92 card anyway, Nvidia never built G80 8800 with 512 Mb of VRAM, just 320 and 640Mb.
Despite my technical nitpicking, the jump to a GTX275 will be quite large; Given a little overclock it can easily stay within reach of the GTX285 and can out run the GTX280.
