g_pAsWMI_NotOpen error after update

My computer had some updates last night, and now when i try to sign into my windows account, as soon as I enter the password and it boots to my main screen i get g_pAsWMI_NotOpen. My monitor stays black except for my mouse. ?I can ctrl alt delete and switch to another account, but I still get the same g_pAsWMI_NotOpen error. But this time I can see everything and my system seems to be fine. But this is not my main account and I can't get back to my main account without that error coming up.

I've tried googling the error, but there is literally no help out there for this. Please help I'm desperate.

It seems like your OS has been corrupted by the updates, or so it seems, you may want to try and perform a system restore to a point prior to when the updates took place/the issue cropped up.

Can you get into Safe Mode and see if the issue is prevalent?
