Question GA-170XP-SLI and 970 EVO Plus Windows 10 Install Fail

Hi,

Looking for help on installing windows 10 to 970 EVO Plus.. The Bios detects the drive but I cannot install as once i am in Windows 10 setup it fails to recognize the drive .

PC part picker indidcated it was compatible.. no other drives are connected .. I am stumped...

Sorry. Its a gigabyte ga-170xp-sli MB with a i5-6600 proc, 8Gb 2400 Ram .. I have disconnected all the other drives and tried to configure the bios but something is wonky as the bios detects the NVME and if i go back to my old SATA SSD and go in windows I can see the new m.2 and use it..

As for windows 10 , its the latest from their site installed on a USB.. i have tried many different USB2/USB3 as well as even created the media with rufus..
