GA-78LMT-S2P Beeping like crazy?

My motherboard is beeping like crazy its giving some single beeps and sometimes heaps of short beeps? Could you please help?

Need full PC specs and beep code - ex: 1 long 2 short

Keep in mind thats a low end model and if you paired it with a hexa core or octo core you might have killed something.

You didn;t tell me the beep code.. How does it beep?

Btw thats a very bad board for an 8 core.

Ohhhh, its a Nvidia Gefore GTX 760M with a Silverstone SST-ST75F-P. And it makes all kinds of beeps, like two short, one short, five short, all short never had a long one. And I just got this board because Global PC had it in stock there and it was two weeks until I got the slightly better board.

nvidia 760m is a mobile chipset used in laptops while your motherboard is a desktop one. Something isn\t right in your description...

If you get no long beeps then its most likely a dead mobo however there is a slight chance its your RAM. Test with one stick at a time and in different slots.

However if your PC is running while beeping (you didn;t make it clear if it posts or not) then here is some info

High frequency beeeps while running ->Overheated CPU Check the CPU fan for proper operation. Check the case for proper air flow.

Also CPU related but i personally haven;t heard this one:

Repeating High/Low Beeps ->CPU Either the CPU is not seated properly or the CPU is damaged. May also be due to excess heat. Check the CPU fan or BIOS settings for proper fan speed.

You are actually right! It only supports the 8300... missed that

You are correct. Even if it did support it - it lacks the proper power delivery to actually drive an 8350.
