I'd simply like to know if you can use and mix different speed memory
modules in the 3 banks? I've currently got a PC2100 stick and wondered if
it's best to add more memory with the same or faster speed?

The slowest stick rules! - it makes no sense to add faster sticks but it
should work ok.
