Hi everyone,

After spending my entire weekend and a part of my week, I am willing to ask
your help for that, you masters of computers, and god of internet.

I've just bought for a good price some components to clean up my old PC but
Windows XP (family edition 2002) don't want to be installed. I ve got a blue
screen with an error msg ( just after some firt installation files have been
loaded )

My components are :

3D Prophet FDX 8500 LE (ATI)

GA-8IEXP (Bios version F9)

MAXTOR 60 g ATTA 133

SAMSUNG DVD ROM SB616 X48 X16

P4 2 Ghz

RAM 512

Does anyone have an idea ?

I would be gratefull if you could do anything

Have a good day

Seb

Was the error message "inaccessible boot device"? Is the hard drive plugged
into IDE3 or 4?

I'm writing this on a PC based on 8IEXP running P4-2.8GHz at 3.5GHz and the
board is completely stable.
