GA 965P DS3 setup

I had to replace my MSI 875P Neo..so I choose the GA 965P DS3. I should have the mobo next week. My first question is about setting it up. I have a WD Raptor SATA that I would like to use for the OS(W2K Pro). I also have an IDE CD optical that I would like to use, mainly for installing the OS and programs. I am somewhat confused as which setting is best, if at all, for this configuration.
I also got for this new build an Intel Core 2 Duo E6700, ATI Radeon X1650 Pro 512 DDR, and an Antec NEOHE 550 Neo psu.
I also ordered Corair twin2x2048-6400C4 2 gig kit....the voltage on this memory is 2.1. I have heard that this might be a problem with this board, since is states 1.8 volts. Any help and info is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You should be ab;e to just plug the Raptor into the orange SATA ports and the optical into the PATA port and have it recognize the Raptor as the boot drive.

As for the memory go to www.gigabyte.com.tw, look up that board and check the memory support list.
