GA-990FXA-UD3 (rev. 4.0) reliable board for gaming / overclocking?

Need to upgrade my motherboard and I'm looking at the Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 (rev. 4.0)

I've been reading mixed reviews on newegg about this product dispite its 1,000+ reviews. Is this board a solid, reliable board for gaming / overclocking? Any known issues? and if so any board around the 100-150 dollar range that you would recommend over this one?

For reference, I will be overclocking a FX 6300 to ~4ghz. Aftermarket cooling, possible upgrade to an FX 8350.

CPU: FX 6300
GPU: GTX 970
RAM: 8 GB G.Skill Ares DDR3 @ 1866 mhz
