GA-990FXA-UD3 Slight Booting Problem

I just got a 990FXA-UD3 yesterday. When I press the power button, the system spins up, and the lights come on, but then it all stops. Then a few seconds later, it would spin up again, and actually start booting. This happens with restarts, and powering on. Is this normal?

if you turn off "core performance boost" (i.e. turbo core) in bios it will do that. I have the same board, rev. 3

It doesn't seem to cause any adverse effect on my system other than an annoyance. hopefully Gigabyte will release a update that will fix this

I just checked the BIOS, and turbo core IS turned off... This is pretty annoying. Sometimes it'll do it twice. A quick temp spin up, a "normal" temp spin up, and finally boot...

Never mind, I read it wrong. It stopped doing the odd spins after turning on Turbo Boost. Anybody knows why it does that?
