Hi you all, thanks in advance!
ISSUE: New System, won't post, no BEEP, CPU Fan and PSU Fan start spining then goes off (like a second), yellow light on MOBO does the same (ON for a second, then OFF). The cicyle repeat alone until power cable is disconected manually.
SYSTEM:
MB: GA-B250M-DS3H
CPU: I5-7500
MEM: CMK16GX4M2A2400C16 (CPU and MEM both in GB compatibility list)
PSU: 750W (tried also a 500W)
Checklist:
(1) Yes, i read the mobo manual
(2) Yes, I Did plug in the 4/8-pin CPU power connector located near the CPU socket. Several confirmation checks with different PSU
(3) Yes, i installed the standoffs under the motherboard correctly, also tried conecting the MB over a wood surface, same result.
(4) (5) No external video card attached, using the MB-video card
(6) Yes, tried booting with just one stick of RAM installed, tested in all slots, with both dims (each time).
(7) Yes, in each attemp, the mem was fully conected.
(8) Yes, tried every combination of mem configuration (1 dim only in each slot, 1-3, 2-4, 1-2). Also tried to boot without memory, same result, NO BEEP at all.
(9) (10) (11) Yes, removed the plastic guard, Yes, CPU installed in the correct way, NO, checked for bent pins, under a magnifier every thing looks OK.
(12) (13) (14) Using the standard fan cooler that comes with the CPU, with it thermal paste. The CPU fan is connected (it start spining for a second), no extrange material or any other issue there.
(15) no loose screws or any other. Tested on the case and also on a wood table.
(16) Yes, i did discharged all static electricity before touching any of my components
(17) Yes, system speaker is conected, it makes a short "click?" when the mobo try to start. Also tried connect it in both ways, no luck.
Any new idea will be highly apreciated!, the components were bought about 2 months ago while traveling (so no warranty will be useful to me). As i have no clue if the issue is with the MB, CPU or MEM, don't know what to replace.
Once again, Thanks!
