I purchased a gygabite ga-h110-m.2 and I was hoping if someone could let me know if it's possible to run a g4560 on the motherboard. For the ga-h110-a boards, I heard they would need a bios update to make it compatible but I can't seem to find anything about the board I purchased. Hopefully I didn't purchase the wrong board.

The G4560 is a Kabylake processor part which means you either need a 200 series chipset board to run out of the box or to perform a BIOS update for your 100 series chipset board to drop in that Pentium processor. The latter means that you get a hold of a Skylake processor part and then update to the latest BIOS version and then remove the Skylake processor and replace it with the G4560 processor part.

Should've asked before buying the board and being interested in the G4560. You could also just pick up an i3-6100(or a similar Pentium part to the G4560) and be done with it.

It was kind of my fault for purchasing it before asking but I figured since it said it was a Pentium processor I thought it would work with the board. I know that I can use the g4400 though which is the one my brother is using in a similar board. I may go with an I3 processor and call it good. Thank you for your help!
