GA-H270-Gaming 3 - No bootable options (drives visible) when RAID is turned on

Hello!

I'm experiencing a confounding issue after a new build. I went from a GA-P55A-UD3 board with an i7-870 cpu to the current GA-H270-Gaming 3 board with an i7-7700k. The previous build used a SATA SSD (Win10 drive) with a RAID 0 setup using 2 SATA HDDs.

When I boot the new system into the BIOS, I go through the setup steps to enable RAID. Luckily, it sees my previous RAID volume and says it's OK (it was built using the Intel RAID chipset on the old board). I also see my non-RAID SATA SSD. In addition, all three SATA drives (in either AHCI or RAID mode) show up as connected to the motherboard.

The problem is, when RAID is enabled, I cannot see either of the two drives (SSD or RAID volume) as boot options. When I change back to the default AHCI config, I can boot from the SSD but it obviously doesn't see the array and I can't access it from Windows.

Does anyone know the combination of settings I have to enable to be able to use both the SSD and the RAID array? I have been through the Gigabyte manual and some other threads on here but nothing has worked so far.

I did install the RST software from Gigabyte's website, but still can't get it to boot from the SSD.
