Hi,

I have GA-H55M-D2H(i3 540) mb and I got 1x 8gb Crucial Ballistix Sport 1600 module, I looked at specifications and it should work, but it wont start properly (bluescreen 0xc5 error). I tested ram on another 1156 motherboard and it works fine.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Here is from gigabyte " 2 x 1.5V DDR3 DIMM sockets supporting up to 8 GB of system memory (Note 1) ". That means you can't use the 1x8GB RAM. You can only use the 2x4GB RAM instead of the 1x8GB.

Hi,

thanx for your reply.

bummer

the weird thing is that on GA-P55M-UD2(4 x 1.5V DDR3 DIMM sockets supporting up to 16 GB of system memory) runs perfectly (seem should be 4x4GB as on GA-H55M-D2H)

Thanks for reply

actually, on start page and in BIOS it shows 8GB, the same as on GA-P55M-UD2, just checked
