hello i wanto buy very very cheap pc gaming for csgo to get 150 fps minimum.
i already have 960 gtx 2gb, Seasonic 430W. so i found this motherboard, and also it 2500k es version (not sure what the es version say, if someone know i would love to hear), i will add 120gb ssd that i also already have, and buy 8 gb ram. is the mother board is too old? i really know nothing about motherboard so if it works i dont see a reason to buy expensive motherboards.. what are they for lol?

and what do u guys think about the system? it should run csgo on low settings pretty good right? (i also want 144hz monitor, that means i need to buy as cheap as possible..)
all of the hardware i buy are used, to reduce the price..

Thanks a lot

i5-2500k ES... ES stands for Engineering Sample, so that would actually be a pre-production version of the CPU that was sent to reviewers... Neat to own, but it might actually have errata and bugs that the retail chips don't have.

Electrolytic capacitors will bulge with age as they dry out. H61 boards aren't typically old enough for that to have happened yet, and many boards now use solid caps in place of electrolytics for all but audio.

Still, if you plan on a lot of gaming, I would almost want the better board. It will have larger voltage regulation modules and may prevent overheating/throttling during continuous use.
Motherboard is basically the interface between the CPU and the rest of your components. It has little impact on performance. So your question should be is the 2500k good enough for basic gaming. And I would say yes for something like CS:GO.

H61 is an okay board. Not a great match for the i5-2500k though. Really you want P67 for overclocking and power delivery, or Z77.

The rest of your components will actually make a decent mid-range gaming platform.

144hz monitor is going to be fairly expensive, even used, and in other games you won't get to take much advantage of it.

about the monitor i know how expensive it is, and thats the reason i have a little bit money to investigate on the pc..
i saw z77 motherboard but its more expensive.. (1). will it help only for overclocking? cause i dont think i will have overclock..
(2). i will have bottle neck with my gpu right?

(3) which ram do i need to buy so it will fit into? any ram?
what about this ram:
Corsair Vengeance LP Low Voltage 8GB DDR3 1600Mhz CL9

(4). What about the PSU? will 430W will be okay in this system? this is Seasonic 430W S12 Bronze. this is pretty good psu

If you don't want to overclock at all then stick with the motherboard that comes with the i5... that i5 will do great in games like cs:go and tf2 however in more modern/demanding titles your cpu will begin to show its age. Really any 8gb DDR3 ram will work as long as it's 1) DDR3 Desktop ram 2) Not server ram

It looks like you're on your way to a pretty good budget system. Just make sure if you are buying used on craigslist check for bulging capacitors before you commit, it's a really good sign that an older budget motherboard is on its way out and won't last very long. You can easily see what one looks like on google just search it. If you are getting from eBay, read all descriptions of items because some people like to sneak in there "as is" or other sneaky things to get people to buy stuff that doesn't properly work.

For the monitor, I'd really recommend checking out http://www.ebay.com/itm/Acer-LCD-Widescreen-Monitor-24-Display-144-Hz-Full-HD-Screen-LED-Black-/252347503477?hash=item3ac1155375:g:Tg8AAOSwZ8ZXBpS4

It is a great budget display that can be tweaked to look great and it's well within reasonable means for a 144hz 1080p display.

EDIT: For PSU, the seasonic unit should power your components just fine. That 960 will sip on power and if you aren't overclocking then it should easily do good.
Good luck!

This might be the best answer i have got here, thanks so much man.. i just didnt understand what is this "bulging capacitors", is it like a burned items? or stuff like that?
and about the monitor god damn the price is god, but i live in israel and everything is much expensive, im waiting on 20th April when im going to a city in israel which has no tax, and then i will buy the AOC 2460PF on 275$.
the Acer u sent isnt availble in Israel :) :) :) :)!! .
what do u say about searching for a better cpu? i want csgo to run very good and not "okay", right now my laptop using an external gpu run csgo in "okay" (in old maps like dust its 140 fps, and in nuke and other new maps is 80 fps..).
and is there a big difrence between i5 2500 and i5 2500K? i found the i5 2500 on Aliexpress in 69$.. so i might go for that
