So I have a GA-MA78LM-S2 motherboard and found my old processor AMD Phenom x3 8550 which is on AM2 socket and was wondering if it will fit in the mentioned motherboard ?

How can I check which revision do I have ? Tho is AM2 compatible with AM2+ ? Cos the one I have is AM2 one.

It is often stenciled on the motherboard itself. That motherboard will work with that cpu. Good luck.
