GA-P35-DS4 won't hibernate with Vista

Hi. Just built an HTPC with this board and Vista Home Premium 32bit and cannot seem to get it to hibernate. It either immediately restarts with a full POST, or worse, I get a blue screen of death that eventually times out and restarts. I have the S1 mode set for sleeping, but how does that affect hibernation? Any advice? Thanks!

Hi. thanks for the response. Tried S3. Interestingly, with this set, Vista shutdown options no longer included hibernate. Tried "sleeping" with same result, reboot with an indication after POST that Windows had not shut down properly. Still stumped.
