I'm building my first homebuilt system and I'm on the fence about SLI capability for my video card. That being said, if I don't go the SLI path, then I'm considering Gigabyte's GA-P35C-DS3R mobo. I like the combo DDR2/DDR3 capability so when DDR3 becomes cheaper and faster I'm set to upgrade. Also, with the P35 chipset, I'll be ready for any new 45nm processors. And I've heard good things about Gigabyte's mobos. Does this seem like a good idea? Any other ideas for other mobos?

If I decide on going the SLI route, I'm looking at ASUS P5N32-E SLI or P5N32-E SLI Plus. Any suggestions here? I'd like as much input as possible. Thanks!

Im in exactly the same situation as you and trying to decide between the expensive p5k deluxe wifi or the gigabyte GA_P35C_DS3R but just incase you havent seen it, the GAP35DS3R just won the comparison between the ddr2 p35 mobos so its obviously a good-un!

It's a pretty new board so not many reviews as of yet but I went with it and ordered it today. I was also considering the Asus P5k deluxe. I thought that the eventuality of the DDR3 was pretty appealing. If not for that very reason I might have gone for the Asus board.
