Hello!

I have a plex media server, running on debian. I want connect to this server from any device ( phone/windows pc) and remotly suspend or hibernate and wake up that. I watched my mobo manual and there is options:

GA-P41T-D3 - Gigabyte

PME Event Wake Up
Allows the system to be awakened from an ACPI sleep state by a wake-up signal from a PCI or PCIe
device. Note: To use this function, you need an ATX power supply providing at least 1A on the +5VSB
lead. (Default: Enabled)

Power On by Ring
Allows the system to be awakened from an ACPI sleep state by a wake-up signal from a modem that
supports wake-up function. (Default: Enabled)

...but when i check the gigabyte website specs, thats say this mobo has no WOL settings.

How can i test that my mobo support WOL? Or there is any option to suspend/hibernate/wake up my server?

Thanks for the answers.

Thanks dude! I just enabled WOL on OS. Now i can wake up my pc if im on the same network where is my server. Do you have any idea how can i wake up if im on another network? WOL workin only with the local IP address (192.168.1.24) but not with the 84.23.56.43...

84.23.56.43 is an Internet IP address; presuming it has that capability, you need to configure your router to redirect magic packets to the local network as explained here and other sites: https://www.howtogeek.com/192642/how-to-remotely-turn-on-your-pc-over-the-internet/

Thanks again! Its work now!
