Hello forum.
I'm building a new rig. I'm planning to buy GA-P67-DS3-B3 mobo: http://www.gigabyte.com.au/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3882#ov and Corsair DDR3 1600 8Gb Kit XMS3.

Gigabyte's site state that this mobo supports DDR3 1600MHz
"3.Support for DDR3 2133/1866/1600/1333/1066 MHz memory modules " But when I check the memory support list (http://download.gigabyte.eu/FileList/Memory/mb_memory_ga-p67-ds3-b3.pdf) I dont see my module listed. And the most important thing is that everything above 1333 is dumbed down to 1333MHz!

So my question is should I buy a different mobo? Because it doesnt make sense to buy 1600Mhz RAM that will run on only 1333MHz. I really love this mobo because it doesnt have useless things for me like 4 PCIe slots and 6 USB3 slots which I will never use and comes at huge discount at my fav store. And my build is already exceeding 1300 bucks.
