GA Z170x Gaming 7 Motherboard cpu list

So to begin with this are my critical components pretty sure the rest are fine as only error 62 comes up probably being the bios not supporting the cpu

i7-7700k
2x16GB ram 3000hz
gtx 1080

anyways i ordered a Pentium G4400 cpu so i can update my bios, though i am not sure if the Pentium G4400 cpu is supported by the bios of the motherboard as firstly i dont know the motherboard bios and that the gigabytes website says that Pentium G4400 is supported Since BIOS Version F3 https://www.gigabyte.com/Ajax/SupportFunction/GetCpuList/?Value=5481&Type=Product any help is really appreciated.

Are you sure it's error 62 and not b2. I'm asking because I have mistaken b2 for 62 before on my motherboard. 62 is relates to "Installation of the PCH runtime services" which means a problem with the GPU or in some cases the PCI slot.

See if you can get to BIOS with the built-in graphic support. If works GPU probably OK and it might be a motherboard/PCIE slot issue.

If it's error b2 it's related to "Legacy Option ROM initialization" which basically has to do with the graphic card's BIOS and system not recognizing it.

A BIOS update might help and yes your MOBO supports Pentium G4400 according to the website.

I am sure it's error 62 I did check it, also I tried to use the onboard and removed the gpu completely still error 62
