Agreed Zerk, this is what I'm saying. It will at least turn on, but you will encounter a memory error.
Unless by boot we specifically mean going into BIOS. I was using the term "boot" loosely. As I don't know if he's suggesting nothing turns on, or there is simply no display, and so on.
Which is why I specifically state "You need CPU (with HSF) and RAM to be able to boot properly."
