Hi All,

I have ordered Gigabyte GA-Z68XP-UD3 LGA 1155 motherboard. But I have doubt whether the Intel Core i7 3770 processor supports??? I confused with this picture : http://www.gigabyte.us/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3978#

However the website say

"(All PCI Express x16 slots conform to PCI Express 3.0 standard.)
* To support PCI Express 3.0, you must install an Intel 22nm CPU. "

I have already bought CPU and motherboards. Is that correct???

Thanks...

Solution
Buying that Celeron CPU and using it as a temporary CPU while you flash the BIOS is one solution. Another is to see if there is a computer service place near you that will flash the bios for you for a small fee.

A 600W PSU sounds fine, as long as you buy a good brand like corsair, seasonic, or antec.
You can use the i7 3770 cpu as long as you first upgrade the BIOS to version F9 or newer FIRST. That means you have to first install a supported cpu, then upgrade the bios, then swap out the old cpu for the new i7 3770.

OMG... I have already bought the MB and Processor. And I couldn't cancel the order. Also I don't have any other process. Do you think If I buy Intel Celeron G440 processor(Ok for out of box ?) and update the BIOS.
Later swap the processor. I am thinking to buy a 600W PSU, so Am I in the correct track?? Please friend help me, one week I am spending time to buy a computer but everything goes failure....

Thanks-you so much...

You're welcome.

No that MB won't work. You would need a MB based on the Z77 chip set if you want to use it with that CPU right out of the box. For example:
GIGABYTE GA-Z77X-D3H LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
