I think I have deleted the or damaged the update on my bios. I got the pc to start up a few times and boot into bios and after playing to much with the buttons on the mobo, the pc refuses to boot could I have master reset the bios or deleted the update?

I've tried nearly everything suggested online . It seems as though both my bios are corrupt. When I have the bios switches to 1 - 1 or 2 -1, it appears to attempt to load one bios and shuts off and on, then appears to attempt to load the other bios. I've been unable to find out if there's a solution if both bios are potentially corrupted.

Oddly enough if I switch the bios to position 1 - 2 or 2 - 2, the fans will run constantly but it will never post or boot.

Have a 5th gen processor in at the moment and have updated the bios last year.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.

1| Can you please pass on your full system's specs?
2| Have you tried removing the CMOS battery from your motherboard and replacing it after 15 minutes before trying to flash your BIOS to the latest found off Gigabyte's site using Qflash/USB drive? Do keep in mind to stay away from beta version of BIOS.

*Unfortunately Gigabyte's servers seem to be going maintenance, I couldn't dig up your manual off their site...

Hello friend.

Gigabyte motherboards use a Dual Bios. The procedure for resetting them is different than most motherboards. Do this

Unplug your computer from the wall, unplug your monitor, unplug your LAN cable. Turn off powersupply switch, Press power button to release capacitor power. Your computer is now separate from ground and discharged

Now - Take out CMOS battery with flat head screwdriver and leave it out. Next locate the CMOS jumper, it is usually located near the battery or somewhere on the right side of the motherboard. It only has two pins, not three.

Once you have located this jumper, touch the two pins with a screwdriver to make the connection. Make this connection for 5 seconds. You are done.

Now put back in CMOS battery and both BIOS's should be reset.

Good luck.
