hey guys i just bought a i5 4690k to go with my gtx 770 and i dont know which motherboard to get out of these two, i only have a money for them because they are the same price, let me know which you think i should get for my gaming pc and in the future im hoping to OC the cpu and maybe add another gpu along with the one i have. thanks

Solution
If you need SLI, then GA-Z97X-SLI is your only option. Otherwise, pick the GA-Z97-D3H.

For overclocking, the GA-Z97X-SLI is not very good with its 4-phase VRM. So there are pros and cons to each.

GA-Z97X-SLI this one you need since you have an nvidia GPU. it support bot SLI and crossfire

GA-Z97-D3H only supports crossfire!

so in your opinion, for the i5 4690k, which mobo? for gaming, and im not planning on getting a new gpu anytime soon.

SLI is multiple gpu usage correct?, if so i dont really need that for the next few years.

well in that case you better prefer the better overclocker D3H. in a few years time you will be able to upgrade to a better single gpu, as 770 will be mediocre at best. also keep in mind that 770 sli will require a good 750w psu.!
