Built two machines exactly the same using a GA-Z97X-UD7 TH mobo with an i4790 proc. First machine works and is ready for use.

The second machine will not post nor will it put any error codes on the DEBUG LED on the mobo. Pushing the power button on the mobo to turn on unit results in a quick click on and then off again.

Ideas? I'm at a loss on this.

Thanks @Tradesman1. Issue was the CPU cable. Not sure how but on the NZXT power supply, which has installable/removable cables, I had the CPU plugged not only into a PCI-e cable but also a PCI-e port on the power supply.

Booting now!

Thanks!

Issue was the CPU power was connected to a PCI-e port on the NZXT powersupply (Hale90 v2 1000w). For some reason this one had no marking on the ports as to what they were supporting. I had to seek documentation elsewhere to match it up.
