Gainward's WaterMonster.

The InQ once again with something interesting.

The Gainward CoolFX 2600 will have 600mhz core and 600+ mhz memory;

Cool'd be interesting. 😱

The CoolFX line has always looked good from Gainward.

If I were to go the nV route, not that either are attractive now, Gainward would be my first choice.

They offer upgrade kit for your CPU also, so you could have a full watercooling kit, for extra 100 bucks. Sounds good.

This topic almost slipped by for me. Very interesting. 150MHz/50MHz OC should bring in some sweet fps. Now if NV gave us more driver control for disabling those IQ floppsies.

Gainward is the only way to go with Nvidia. I wish they'd do ATI instead.

Yeah I agree. There are some you wish did both (just like some women :evil: .

Asus was the first, I was happy to see have both lines. Unfortunately I think nV is doing everything it can to keep Gainward nV-only.

Oh well, there's still HIS, Sapphire's top lines, and the entry of MSI (still nothing impressive from them yet, but they do have potential).

Interesting, would be good to see how it performs with that kind of OC. Let's start our own company that does 750MHz GPU + 750MHz GDDR3 using a compressor. We could charge a high premium, but give 600FPS in Q3...

SEX is like math. Add the bed, subtract the clothes, divide the legs, and hope you dont multiply

If gainward bundles Prometeia, clocks the 6800core at 1000mhz on the GPU, and use 1600mhz ram, then I DON'T CARE HOW MUCH IT COSTS!! I'M BUYING IT!!

Yep, gotta pump the Q3 results. :lol:

1,000 FPS in Tetris! Operators Are Standing By!

Funny thing is it will be interesing to see how far people can take these things. Aren't the NV40s on the normal non low-k 0.13 process? I thought everyone was saying how impossible it was to go above 600mhz. Oh well it'll be fun to see what happens.

scottchen, I may see how high the R9600Pro goes as I just got access to a Pelt. I didn't ask for one so I have not prepared anything to do with one. But when I do get rid of the R9600P, I may take it for a spin before letting it go and see how much higher than 540mhz I can get. I'd love to see the performance of a pelt on a day like today (-2C in Calgary) with the windows and case open. Now that would be sweEet! 😎
