GALAX GeForce GTX 980 SOC 4GB compatibility with a another brand

HI,
I want to add another GeForce 980 to my pc. One of these cards (GALAX GeForce GTX 980 SOC 4GB) fits into my pc fine. The problem is that because of the large fan shield I cant fit another into my pc case( the hard drive cage gets in the way). Is there another 980 card that has SLI compatibility with the card I already own that might be a little smaller? I also have the Gigabyte GA-Z97X-Gaming 5 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard for clarity. Thanks
