I have already ordered the GALAX GeForce GTX 1080 EX OC SNPR White however the HOF is an extra $85.
I was thinking about canceling my current order and going for the HOF but it is it more bling than performance?
Is the HOF worth the extra $85 or is their really not that much difference between the two other than a larger cooler and faster stock OC speeds?

Solution
Since all chip limits are set by Nv, and boost 3.0 maxing the clocks already pretty good, unless doing things like LN2 cooling and bios swap/mods, all cards will perform almost identical (if not temp limited).

If you can get one with aio LC like the msi/evga hybrid, that would be better to get the max out of the chip.

So temp throttling aside, all chips will virtually boost the same, around 1900-2100 depending on which gpu.

Use afterburner, and unlock voltage control, max the sliders for voltage/power/temp to max and apply, and set to start with windows and apply oc at boot.
This will allow the chip to boost to its (safe) max clock without problems, and most likely be close or maybe even higher than stock boost on the hof.
